Autonomic Materials, a Champaign-based company that develops self-healing smart coatings compatible with ESG, has raised $3M. Burwell Management Company led the round, Camino Real Capital Partners participated, as well as CSR Investments and Phoenix Venture Partners. The company plans to use the funds for development and sales of sustainable protective coats. Led by CEO Dr. Gerald Wilson, Autonomic Materials is a developer of self-healing, high-performance coatings including:
