Clear Skye raises $14M Series A funding
Clear SkyeEmeryville-based provider of an Identity Security and Governance Solution, gathered $14M in Series A financing. Storm Ventures led the round with Toba Capital as co-chairs. Inner Loop Capital was also involved. The company plans on using the funds to increase its global presence and team. Clear Skye, headed by John Milburn, CEO is an identity and governance solution that was built on ServiceNow. Clear Skye reinvents enterprise identity management and risk management. This company allows companies to use a familiar interface. They can provide identity control and insights, as well as a bridge between the IT department and the business. Clear Skye reduces silos between functional areas such as IT, SecOps and GRC and increases efficiency and accelerates time to value. Global customers, such as ABB and West Fraser, Blackhawk Network and Premise Health, use it to manage their identity lifecycle, governance and security initiatives. The company has added Erin Duncan to its CMO team. Erin was previously the chief marketing officer at Saviynt. Jackson Shaw, Chief Strategy Officer who managed product management at Forcepoint, One Identity and Dell; Mike Tierney, Senior Vice- President, Customer Success; Jen Ilsley, Vice-President, HR, and Operations. Arun Penmetsa, Partner at Storm Ventures, will join Clear Skye’s board.
