Florence raises $35M for Series B funding

FlorenceThe Series B funding for ‘’, a UK-based provider of technology platforms for social care, has raised $35M. Axa Venture Partners led the round with participation from Roo capital and SEEK Investments. The company, which has raised a total of $50 million (£35.5 million), intends to use the funds to achieve further product innovation, grow in the UK and multiple international markets, and to expand its services beyond elderly care. Florence, founded by Dan Blake and Dr. Charles Armitage, is a technology company for social services. Florence’s free app connects caregivers, nurses, and support workers with shifts, e-learning, and organisations get a complete suite of workforce management tools. Florence has attracted over 2,000 organizations, 100,000 e-learners and 90,000 care professionals to date.
