Fortis Digital Ventures Closes $100M Crypto Fund Fortis DigitalA blockchain investment company based in Bellevue WA, ‘The X-Finance Group’ announced that it has raised $100 million for its crypto fund. The fund’s goal is to bridge the gap between TradFi & DeFi and bring investors closer to Web3 opportunities. Fortis Digital invests on innovative, secure, and scalable projects that are developed by the most talented engineers. The newly founded team is comprised of hedge fund veterans and technology experts, including: Mike Boroughs, co-founder of an RIA with $250M in AUM, and Chris Capriccio, former LegalZoom VP of Engineering who created the tech stack which culminated in the company’s 2021 IPO. Cameron Sikes, a former founder at Deep Ellum Capital, was also added to the founding team to lead Business Development and Web3 Evangelization. To determine which coins offer the best risk-reward ratio, the firm uses a 100-point due diligence process. To determine entry and exit points, the market analysis is performed. This allows portfolio exposure to be adjusted in response to changing market conditions.
