GivePenny Technologies Raises £1.25M in Funding
GivePenny Technologies, a Stourbridge, UK-based charity fundraising platform provider, secured £1.25m in funding. The round was led by MEIF Proof of Concept & Early Stage Fund. The company intends to use the funds to further enhance the platform and allow more charities — big and small — to continue their work. GivePenny is led by Lee Clark, the CEO. It allows users to upload data and make donations based on different metrics like miles traveled, milestones, or even adding songs to playlists. This platform allows charities to create digital fundraising experiences to their supporters. It can be linked with apps like Spotify, Twitch. Fitbit, YouTube, YouTube, and Spotify. It offers features that aid charities, fundraisers, and donors to increase their user donations and engagement. GivePenny is used by the likes of Mind, Cancer Research UK and Help for Heroes.
