Karlsgate Raises $4M in Seed Funding
KarlsgateNew York-based startup for data enrichment, ‘’, has raised $4M in Seed financing. M12 Ventures and Motley Fool Ventures led the round. The company intends to use the funds to expand its HIPAA-/GDPR-/CCPA-compliant data connectivity network (DCN) solution. Karlsgate, founded by Brian Mullin, CEO, and Vivian Zhou (Co-founder and Chief Products Officer), is a secure collaboration company that uses an Identity Exchange technology and patent-pending cryptoidentity technology. This allows data owners from different industries to share individual-level insight safely and efficiently, without losing full custody. Karlsgate has an ongoing partnership in place with LexisNexis Risk Solutions. Karlsgate works with companies from healthcare, financial service, and media to protect the exchange of information as well as mitigate privacy risks when dealing directly with personal data.
