ParkBee has raised €30M in a fresh round of funding ParkBee Amsterdam is a smart platform that allows stress-free off-street parking. It takes cars off streets and gives them space back to the city.

Street parking is a valuable space in most urban areas and can be difficult to find. There is an alternative to parking on the street that is easy and inexpensive around the corner. The digital car parking platform announced that it has raised €30M in a fresh round of funding from former Booking.com CEO Kees Koolen’s Koolen Industries and a number of other tech entrepreneurs and investors. Founded in 2013 by Jian Jiang and Tom Buchmann, ParkBee is on a mission to improve the way car parking operates in Europe’s increasingly dense and populated cities. The company’s app allows drivers to locate and reserve available spaces in off-street car parks and be directed to those spaces through the ParkBee app and affiliates such as Google Maps. The platform assists cities and property-owners to better utilize their urban spaces. ParkBee has more than 400 parking locations affiliated in four countries, and many partnerships with parking apps or parking providers. This allows ParkBee to reach millions of users and provide them with a space.
