Primitives Raises $4M in Pre-Seed Funding

PrimitivesNew York-based provider of web3 applications,, raised $4M of Pre-Seed funding. Redpoint was the leader of the round, with Harlem Capital, Union Square Ventures and Stellation Capital participating. Led by CEO David “DJ” Gabeau, Primitives is a web3 social application which allows users to create and connect online with NFTs. Built on the eco-friendly Solana cryptocurrency, Primitives allows users to connect online with NFTs via an invitation from a friend or organizer. Sign up and they will be guided through the creation of another NFT which becomes their profile photo. As users create and share Primitives, they’ll automatically build a portable map of their social connections. Any web3 application that integrates to Primitives can use this social graph and it belongs to the user (as an NFT).
