The Bitcoin Company Raised $2.1M in Seed Capital

The Bitcoin CompanyAustin, TX-based startup eXchange, raised $2.1M Seed funding. The round was led by Brad Mills, Greg Foss, Jay Gould, and American HODL, with participation from Seetee, Mimesis Capital, Fulgur Ventures, Lightning Ventures, Hivemind Ventures, Plan B Ventures, Revolution’s Rise of the Rest Seed Fund and Cavalry Asset Management. The company plans to use the funds for expansion and to increase its business reach. The Bitcoin Company, led by Ben Price, is a company that offers an app that allows users to send, save, spend, and use their money as they wish. The company has partnered with Visa, Figg and Checkout.com to expand its rewards program internationally. It aims to offer users traditional checking and savings accounts, a Bitcoin reward card, and access to Bitcoin exchange services on top of the already existing rewards program.
