Tishman Speyer Raised $100M in Commitments

Tishman SpeyerNew York-based developer, operator, and asset manager of first class real estate,, has raised $100M in commitments to its first Proptech venture capital fund. The Investment Management Corporation of Ontario (National Pension Service of Korea) and the National Pension Service of Korea (National Pension Service of Korea) anchored the commitments. Venture seeks to raise $150m total equity to finance investments in technology-driven opportunities in all areas of real estate. Tishman Speyer Proptech Venture Fund is a fund that invests in companies at early stages with proven technology and disruptive business models. It aims to improve the experience of real estate for residents, homeowners, investors, brokers, lenders, lenders, owners, and other stakeholders. The fund will specifically target emerging firms that can leverage Tishman Speyer’s global portfolio, its expertise as an early adopter of real estate technology and its vast network of relationships. Tishman Speyer is the CEO and Senior Managing Direct of Proptech Jenny Wong. They are owners, developers, operators and investment managers in first-class realty in over 30 markets in America, Europe, Asia, Latin America, Asia, and Asia. The company builds, manages and maintains top-quality office, residential, and retail spaces for tenants. It also operates Breakthrough Properties, which provides life science centers. It is focused on health, wellness, enlightened spotmaking, customer-focused initiatives, such as ZO., the tenant amenities platform, and Studio, a flexible workspace and co-working brand. Tishman Speyer was founded in 1978 and has since acquired, developed and managed 484 properties totaling 219,000,000 square feet. The combined value of the properties is over $121 billion (U.S.). The current portfolio includes iconic assets such as Rockefeller Center, The Springs, Shanghai, TaunusTurm, Frankfurt, and Mission Rock, which is currently being developed in San Francisco. Since 2017, the firm has invested in 19 emerging Proptech companies, including such market leaders as OpenSpace, VTS, Agora, Monograph and Blank Street.
